Check out Kaiyo's reviews. He's bought several swords from Huawei. They do pretty much ANY custom thing you can think of for a VERY reasonable price. The hamon and polish on their swords is amazing, and from what I've read and heard (as I will be having them make a custom blade for me within the year), they perform quite well as cutters. I think they are about the only BLADE supplier on ebay that has been consistently praised her on the forum, with one notable exception that was some time ago. Good luck and let us know which way you go.
I actually have two Ryan swords, the first swords I bought from China. Mine are all good, and was a fair deal for the price I paid. I guess I was lucky. That said, it's best to stay away from Ryan and similar sellers as you may get a bad sword and no replacement. With sellers like Huawei around there is absolutely no reason to waste money on SLO's.

Dom: Nah, go ahead. Even though the wakizashi I bought was cheap, I probably shouldnt have bought it anyway . It was a companion for my katana and is close to a chisa katana in size, but still a wakizashi. 20" blade and 9" handle. I thought this was neat since im used to seeing rather short wakizashi. But anyway, I wont be buying another sword for awhile.
Ah, unicorns. Reminds me of that game on adultswim.com. Anyway, it seems like a lot of people trust Huawei. Maybe ill buy from them before I get the Kaze and Model 002. Their swords look as though they are worth a lot more even though the quality isnt necessarily super awesome amazing.
