yeah ive seen that too...it does resemble boromirs sword but i dont think it has captured any of the beauty of the origional, actually while i do like some of DSA's swords...im not a fan of their LOTR replicas. The United Cutlery practical versions are carbon steel and "supposedly" full tang. I have no reason to doubt this...just because their origional ones were crap.

I'm not sure what that means, "Exclusive US Retailer"... because the SBG sword store ships them out of Quebec, Canada with free shipping to anywhere in North America. True, it's technically based in Australia... and you are right about the sharpening option. But the last sword I ordered from AoV cost $70 in shipping, and while I'm not sure what it normally costs to ship within the States by UPS I think it's probably more than free. More DSA swords are being added to the SBG store in the near future.

I don't want to get in a battle over prices and shipping with Paul. We both sell swords to make a living and are very good friends.
As for the shipping I am not sure what or where $70 for shipping was charged unless it was international or expedited. Please clarify to why the charges were so high and if it was caused by a problem or error we will fix it.
The reason we, AoV, charges shipping on DS swords is the fact that we pay to ship them from Canada to us and also pay the import tariffs. This provides faster shipping times within the US and we do not pass the tariff fees onto the customers.
Yes, we can arrange for you to pick up a sword as well as try them all out before you buy. We are in Niceville. Just give us a call at 888-477-9673.
